• Login Lockdown (2FA & Brute Force): Most hackers get in through the “front door.” I’ll move your login page, set up 2-Factor Authentication (optional), and trigger automatic lockouts for anyone trying to guess your login information.
• Core Server Hardening: I manually edit your .htaccess and wp-config.php files to disable file editing from the dashboard and block PHP execution in your upload folders. Translation: If a hacker gets a file onto your site, they can’t “run” it.
• User Permission Audit: I’ll remove or de-permission default “admin” usernames and replace them with secure, unique credentials to prevent “front door” entries.
• Malware Scan & Health Check: A full audit of your current files to identify any existing threats, plus a round of safe theme and plugin updates to close known security holes.
• SSL & Protocol Verification: I’ll ensure your “padlock” is working correctly and force secure connections for every visitor. (If you don’t have an SSL certificate, we definitely need to talk!).
• Automated Safety Net: I’ll set up automated off-site backups and monthly security monitoring. If something goes wrong, we have an “undo” button ready to go.
• Anything that falls outside of the package?  You can contact me 24/7 with emergencies and I’ll only bill hourly to fix things. During work hours is the discounted hourly rate and outside is the emergency rate (which is still cheap).  I’ll always be there for you if you need me 🙂
